My Classmates..

Manusia adalah makhluk sosial dan membutuhkan orang lain. Bukan berarti semua apa yang kita kerjakan tergantung kepada orang lain juga. Stand with your own feet! Because your self is yours. Berteman adalah salah satu cara interaksi sosial kita. Pertemanan membuat life is never flat.Selalu ada cerita baru, selalu ada canda baru dan selalu ada kamu kamu kamu. hehe

Mereka selalu ada saat senang dan sedih. Mereka siap berbagi solusi dan memecahkan persoalan berat menjadi ringan. Menerima kekurangan dan kelebihan karena nobody's perfect!

Dipertemukan di Universitas Mercu Buana, walaupun berbeda-beda, but we have same goal. Be an architect in the future. Kadang berbeda pendapat, wajar, karena perbedaan itu indah. Perbedaan yang ada bukanlah faktor utama penyebab konflik. Keegoisan individu adalah faktornya. Unsur saling menghargai dengan selera humor bisa meminimalisasi terjadinya konlik. Berbeda itu unik! That's the challenge of life :D

This is my true story..
This taken from my experience in my student activity in campus. The activity is called Mercu Buana English Club (MBEC). I learned not only how to use my English better but also I learned how to be a good leader.
I believe that God created man as a leader in the earth. The meaning of leader is not that you must be a king or president but if you can lead your self, it means you are a leader. MBEC could open my eyes that everyone is a leader.

First, when I decided to enter this organization I was afraid with my English skill because I thought my English still bad. I tried to register my self in my campus corridor with my new friend, I forget his name. hehe. I joined some test started from written test until interviewed test. Alhamdulillah I passed the test! Unfortunately, my friend didn't pass the test :( Finally I was proud because I can be MBEC member but I really didn't have a friend because of no one from my major friend joined this organization. Some of my friends in my major thought that the assignment from the lecture had spent their time and they thought that they didn't have any time to join an organization.

In my first year in MBEC, I was a passive person, I always afraid to speak up. MBEC has a program about leadership and it was called Leadership Training Program (LTP). Every new member had to join in LTP because it was a basic program. As a participant, we were given some of materials how to be a smart leader. I still remember LTP X theme "Burn Your Spirit To Be A Smart Leader". The materials were came from our vice of rector Mr. Aris, chair of MBEC brother Hisnil, the alumni brother Jovie and sister Anna. For three days we tested our temper. There was 'Jurit Malam, it was an activity where our group being an unity or one tasted one spirit. Overall, the activity that I can't forget was the outbound because in one of the game, I climbed my back friends to take a clue and suddenly jumped and fallen to the ground after that  I ran to the next section. We were also splashed with muddy water as we passed through a section. Wow! that was unforgettable moment. haha

Still be passive after LTP? YES I AM. hufh.

After LTP we had Visiting Place program. We went to National Botanical Park in Bogor. O la la.. I won't forget the amazing experience when we searched some foreign tourist and made some interview with them. And you know! My group was a winner! haha

The next program were MBEC club. There are scrabble club, debate club, newscasting club and spelling bee club. I decided scrabble could match to me. I learned how to play scrabble with brother Hyendi, he was very quiet boy! hehe but his scrabble skill are so fantastic! :D Month by month, my friends grew older and I was not too awkward to be friends again. Internal competition helped me more confidence to show my scrabble skill although my skill lower than brother Hyendi's.

Thing that made me so exciting  when I can represent MBEC to follow scrabble competition at Binus University. My partner was brother Hyendi! oh yeah our enemies were great scrabble player. First we played with President University and you know what? We loosed! But there was a thing to teach us, Our defeat is our passion to win. The second game we won! the third won again until the fifth game. In the next day, we met more difficult enemy, there was something to remind us that don't be proud of the victory because it is only temporary. so in the second day we've got a whooping, sad but happy cause I can taste a real competition :)

Mercu Buana University  held an internal competition to commemorate 25 years anniversary. Some of MBEC's member were the committee and I still be a participant. I wish I could win the game but I loosed in the first day! hufh it was make me disappointed. I knew why I loosed because I underestimated the opponent and quickly satisfied. I thought I never be MBEC representative for the next competition in Tarumanegara University but I had a chance, I was chosen again and my partner was brother Hyendi . Wohooo I hope he wasn't bored with me. hehe Oops! We met really really the hardest opponent from BNEC (Bina Nusantara English Club) and we loosed again. :(  I was okay but I didn't know his feeling. I hope he was okay too :D

One program which made us very solid when MBEC held the biggest program, English Event 2010. I knew almost of the committee and be friends. I really felt that we were a big family and one goal. In English Event I tried to speak up and not be a passive again. I and sister Rani were partner as the scrabble responsible people. Alhamdulilah, our scrabble participant according to the expected target. :) Thank you so much for the committee who became the regulator, you really helped us. 

Congratulation to sister Icha to be a new Chairman of MBEC :)

I remember this one! I got new best friends in MBEC :D they called their name as Sahabat Coin. Their hobby was seeing the star and the moon at night. LOL! But I'm happy be apart of them :))

Those are my cool journey in my first year in MBEC. Season two as soon as possible. haha
